BEST KITCHEN EVER!!!

AJ got the best present from her Uncle Eddie & Uncle Mark for her 1st Birthday! She got her very own play kitchen - it is the coolest thing ever! It has so many features and comes with all kinds of mini kitchen appliances that look exactly like the real stuff - it even comes with with spices, a pepper mill & a cordless phone! The stove top actually makes a boiling noise when the pot is on it and a frying noise when the pan is on it! There is a over head light and a real working Quartz clock! There are baskets for holding the utensils, cabinets for the plates, cups and bowls and a drawer for the forks, knives and spoons! There is a refrigerator, a oven, a sink and a wall mounted microwave that makes noise! I really love how it is decorated in similar colors to our kitchen - so cool!!! WOW - I wish I had one like this when I was younger - I am just really glad I get to play with it with AJ!!! She is going to have years and years of fun with this!!!

Surf & Turf Saturday!!!

Ok, so some peeps have thought the meal I am showing you is not mine so I just want to clarify - the pics of food you see are actual ones of our meal that night!!!!

Tonight we enjoyed filet mignon tips (on sale at Kings!) sauteed in butter, broiled lobster tails (wanted to grill but it was pouring so I put in the broiler) and asparagus ("THE GUSS" - our favorite vege!).

GO GREEN!!!

I finally got those reusable grocery bags and they do not disappoint! SOOOO much better then paper or plastic - if you have them at your local store I totally recommend!!!

My 1 YEAR OLD!

We went shopping this morning at Whole Foods - AJ loves grocery shopping! She is constantly waving hi and smiling at anyone who will pay attention to her - she is such a people lover! I get stopped at least 5 times a trip by people telling me how cute she is and asking how old she is. I was so proud this morning to tell each person that asked that my little baby girl is ONE!!! CRAZY to believe a year has gone by but what a year it has been - I love my AJ more then words could ever say!

Playtime!

It is just gorgeous outside so AJ and I took advantage and went out to have some fun! 85 degrees and sunny - it doesn't get much better!

Shout out to the best wedding shower!!!!

OK - LUCE, 70 guests, amazing food, more presents then you can count, wine, mimosas, a cup cake tower (dickie made) & fun!

Being Cute!

One on Saturday!!! WHAT????

This past week I have been trying to capture every single moment I can before she's 1! As exciting as it is and as much as I am truly enjoying her now, I can't help but miss that little baby doll I brought home from the hospital with me!

Carousel

I took AJ to Turtle Back Zoo today to check out the new carousel - it was great! I knew she'd be ok since she loved the one down the shore so much, but since I didn't have daddy with me I put her on one that didn't go up and down because I was afraid I couldn't reach well when she went up. The carousel is super cute - each "horse" is a different zoo animal - she rode the giraffe and looked like such a big girl We did a walk around to see all the animals then caught a show about reptiles on the grass and had lunch!

We had a really great day!

Happy Father's Day!

We had a awesome time on Saturday with Alex's parents! Our day was filled with sun & swimming and our night with wine & lobster! We had such a great day!

Sunday Alex got his "World's Greatest Dad" t-shirt (he talked me into letting him have his new golf driver two weeks ago), work socks from Neiman Marcus from my mother and all kinds of wonderful cards! For breakfast I made him all his favorites - over easy eggs, bacon and pancakes (oh and some fruit - not really so much a favorite - just me feeling a little guilty about all that artery hardening, cholesterol filled food)! We did a little shopping for AJ's party in the afternoon, did a little yard work and then watched the US Open at 3 which did not disappoint (go Tiger - tomorrow will be amazing). For dinner we enjoyed more of Alex's favorites - filet mignon, asparagus, smashed potatoes & tomato/onion/basil/lemon & evoo salad!

I hope AJ, Marley & I made Alex's very first Father's Day special!

Barb's 60th Birthday Bash!

We all had so much fun tonight at Barbara's 60th Birthday Pizza Party! She was so surprised and thrilled to have some pizza and cake!

Maria's Wedding Shower!

On Saturday we had the most wonderful time at my sister-in-laws bridal shower! She got tons of wonderful presents, we played a fun trivia game and she looked beautiful!

Grandma & Grandpa's Pool!!!

AJ had such a great time swimming at Grandma & Grandpa's today! Her cousins were there and she had so much fun playing with them! We had such a nice day and really surprised Grandma with the party!
