AJ's 5th Birthday!
Not sure why but 5 seems like such a big number to me! I really can't believe 5 years has gone by in the blink of an eye! My little baby is growing into such an amazing kid - she is smart, funny, independent, beautiful, sensitive and caring. She loves anything to do with horses, My Little Pony, Barbies, board games, and most of all playing with her friends. She is into anything girlie and of course pink is her favorite color. She and her brother love and fight like crazy - they are very silly together. Her favorite song is Justin Bieber's Baby and she loves to dance. She loves art projects, coloring and making things.
This year we had her kid party back in May so that all the girls from school would be around - they did a salon party and it was so cute. On her actual birthday we were lucky enough to have Mimi & Miss Margie (what the kids call my Aunt Margie) here to celebrate with us. We surprised her in the morning with her breakfast cupcake and Alex and I sang happy birthday to here with balloons and presents. Presents were delivered all day long from everyone that loves her near and far and she was thrilled to open them all. Mimi and Miss Margie took her shopping and let her pick what she wanted and of course that was a thrill! That night she decided she wanted to go to Chuck E Cheese so we all went there, ate pizza, did rides and games and had cupcakes!
We are so blessed to have such a special girl - AJ you make everyday more enjoyable just by being here! Love you more than words! XO

Father's Day 2012
Happy Father's Day Alex! I hope you enjoyed your weekend with the kids and I as much as we loved spending it with you. We didn't really do much of anything special but to me spending QT with my 3 favorite people ROCKS! I hope you enjoyed our time at the pool in beautiful weather, your cigar & growler, your 2 big breakfasts, your steak and lobster dinner, getting to pick our Sunday night movie and all your cards and special attention! You take such great care of the 3 of us and I love how dedicated to our family you are - a woman can tell a lot about a guy buy the way he is with his children and with ours you are protective, warm, loving, silly, funny, goofy, gentle, compassionate and loyal. WOW!

Richard and Johnny visit Cumming!
On to the 2nd family visitors in June! This past weekend we spent with Richard and Johnny. The kids are always thrilled to have family come - they love all the extra attention they get! They arrived Friday night and we went out for a nice dinner. Saturday we hit up the pool and had our lunch there. We went out for another nice meal Saturday night. Sunday was pretty crummy so we just hung around home. The boys went on a walk around our neighborhood in between rain showers and I cooked a big pot of spaghetti with meatballs. We were sad to see them go on Monday! Hope they come back again soon for another adventure!

Grandma & Pop Pop visit Cumming!
This past weekend we were very excited to have Grandma & Pop Pop come for a quick visit on their way down to their new home in Florida! They were here for only a few days but we were able to pack in lots of fun! We visited Lake Lanier where we played mini golf, ate lunch on the lake and then the kids got to go horse riding. Saturday and Sunday we hit up the pool which was a great time for all of us. We hit up a few great places to eat, including a fun German restaurant Alex and I have wanted to try out and it did not disappoint! One night we celebrated Grandma's birthday early - we surprised her with bbq, brownies and ice-cream and some new photos to hang in their new house - we think she was very happy to celebrate with us. Glad they stopped in for a visit and we can't wait to get to go visit them in their new place in Florida!
