This year we had Butterfly Princess AJ & Police Officer Dylan! They had so much fun trick or treating and collecting so many goodies! We are so happy Mimi made into town to decorate and carve pumpkins - she is the best at it and the kids had so much fun with her! Even patch got into the Halloween spirit this year and decided to dress up as a donkey!

AJ's Picture Day
Well my home pics of my beautiful girl on picture day came out much better then the ones the professionals took at school so here they are! Luckily (since you have to pay before you even see them) I only got the smallest package possible - they are too bad to even post!

FINALLY It's FALL!
Finally some fall weather has arrived here in Georgia, I guess better late then never! We decided to take advantage of the cooler weather with a nice fire it the backyard! AJ wasn't feeling great (she had a bit of a fever on and off due to our flu shot we all got Friday) but we still got to hang out and roast some marshmallows and eat a few s'mores before sending the kids to bed and then we got to enjoy the fire alone - just the two of us - nice and romantic!

Pumpkin Picking 2013
Well this year it's been way to hot in GA to even think about pumpkins and Halloween but I finally caved and took the kids to the Kinsley Family Farm to pick our pumpkins. It was hot but we still had fun feeding all the farm animals, feeding the giant cat fish, riding on the tractor pulled hay ride and picking our pumpkins!

9th Wedding Anniversary Weekend!
Alex and I spent the past weekend in the North Georgia Mountains to celebrate our 9 year wedding anniversary. We had such an amazing time and wished we had more days to stay, relax, have some adults only time and explore a really beautiful area of GA! We left early on Friday and got to check out some of the wineries on the way in - we went to two different ones and really enjoyed both!
From there we decided to check out the area and stumbled upon a fun bear farm. There were tons of rescue bears to feed and they were adorable and did some tricks for us!
Next we had lunch in the center of Helen on the river at a German restaurant and checked out some of the area that makes you feel like you are visiting Germany! There are tons of cute shops and fun places to check out!
Next it was on to our adorable cabin in the woods were we just relaxed and listened to music and drank some champagne in the hot tub that overlooked the beautiful woods! We slept in the next morning and then Alex made us a awesome breakfast!

Then it was off to zip line!!!! We were so excited and a little nervous but we had SO MUCH FUN! It got our adrenaline pumping and was right up our ally! We would totally do it again!
Then we had a late lunch back in Helen and had the most amazing fried cheese and goulash soup in the world! I liked it so much I didn't even mind that I forgot my 10% off coupon I had all printed and ready to use - it was THAT good!
That night we went back to the cabin for more time to relax in the hot tub and really enjoyed sleeping in and watching church online Sunday morning in bed in our cabin in the woods! It was a much needed weekend with my husband of 9 years! Our love for each other is infinite!
