RIP Uncle Don - thanks for always loving me as your daughter. 

Heaven truly got an angel. Anyones who's ever met the "Chief" know how amazing he was. He stepped in when my dad stepped out and loved me as his own ever since. I have never known a more kind or generous man. He gave us a home when we didn't have one, he gave me a sense of security always, he stuck up for me when I needed him to, he showed me the qualities I wanted in a man and he gave me unconditional love. Oh, and I don't want to neglect his sense of humor - he had a great one - I will always be a "fink", the dogs will always be "numb nuts" and Judy and I always shopped at the "free clothes, shoe and candy store"! I will miss him but I know he is in a much better place with his son who met him with a big smile and open arms!

JCUMP Kids Helping Kids Carnival!

While I was busy working the carnival, Alex and the kids were off having fun!!  I can officially add cotton candy and pop corn maker to my resume!

AJ's Masterpiece!

Here is AJ at school - we went to the art show to buy her priceless piece of art!  She was very proud of her hard work and now has it framed and hanging up in her bedroom!

Hoppy Easter!

We started off Easter weekend with out egg dying on Friday night.  Saturday night we attend a beautiful service at Browns Bridge.  Sunday we had lots of family fun - the Easter Bunny left baskets filled with fun stuff, the Easter bunny hid a bunch of candy filled eggs so we could have an egg hunt and we at lots of yummy food at the family table!  So much to be thankful for - our family is healthy and happy!

Dylan's School Easter Party

Today I got to go to Dylan's school Easter Party.  It was fun - there was an egg hunt, pizza, cookie decorating and I got to chat with his teachers and the other moms.  After school I got the nicest phone call from his teacher - he had a really great day at school and she wanted to let me know how much she enjoys and really loves D!  Hearing that meant the world and it made my whole Easter weekend even  more special!

Cotton

We got to take AJ's class bunny home for a weekend sleepover.  He was a cute little bunny who likes to be held but a few hours into and I was over it!  He stunk and my house smelled like a barn all weekend!  Glad he was a weekend visitor only!

Palm Sunday Dinner

Today is Palm Sunday.  We had a really nice, emotion filled church service and then went home and I cooked up a nice family meal.  We ate in the dining room on Nana's good China.  It was nice to all sit together and enjoy a fancier dinner at home!

Neighborhood Easter Egg Hunt

Today was the Windermere Egg Hunt.  There were tons of filled eggs to find and the kids had a blast.  There was a petting zoo, cotton candy, face paining, the Easter Bunny was there and there was Chick Fil A lunch!

Spring Break in Delray Beach!

We had a great spring break down in sunny, hot FL!  We got to visit with Mimi, Auntie, Uncle Eddie, Grandma, Pop Pop & Uncle Peter.  We hung at the pools, went to the beach, did the Palm Beach Diva Duck Tour, ate and drank ourselves silly and relaxed!  It was a great vacation!
