Crock Pot Pulled Pork
Crock Pot Pulled Pork
1 pork shoulder picnic roast, 2-3 pounds
2 12-oz cans Root Beer
½ - ¾ bottle of Sweet Baby Ray’s Barbecue Sauce
½ onion chopped up
sea salt, pepper, garlic powder
8 rolls
Put the roast into a large crock-pot and pour the root beer over the top. Cook on low for 6- 8 hours.
Remove the roast to a large plate or bowl. Drain the liquid from the crock-pot, reserving about 3/4 cup. Pull the pork into pieces using two forks or your fingers and remove any access fat. Return the meat to the crock-pot and add the diced onion, sea salt, pepper and garlic powder. Pour the barbecue sauce over the top and add the reserved ½ cup of cooking liquid. Stir to combine and cook for another hour on low. Serve on rolls along with some coleslaw!
SOOOO GOOD AND SOOOO EASY!
Sorry about the poor quality picture, I lost my camera and had to use my cell phone to take the picture!
