Christmas Day 2013

The kids were SO excited to wake up super early and run downstairs to see what Santa brought for them!  It was great to sit back with Alex in our pi's and just watch all the excitement in their eyes!  I love Christmas through my children's eyes - amazing!

We hung around in our pi's all day and just enjoyed each other and ate the day away.  For Christmas dinner course 1 there was homemade manicotti, meats and cheese and a cucumber tomato salad! We ate in the formal dining room with the formal Christmas China and good silver in our PJ's!!  Our second course was next veal Marsala and sides!  Then we had dessert!

We had the greatest Christmas and I feel beyond blessed this year!  Can't wait to head down to Florida tomorrow to see all our Florida peeps!

Happy 36th Alex!

Today I am wishing you the happiest birthday ever! We've been though the best, the worst and everything in-between but knowing we've done it together is what makes my life worth living! We have grown up together and I look forward to growing old together too! Very proud of you and the amazing husband and father you are - so lucky you are mine! Love you and can't wait to celebrate all our blessings later!

Here is the meal fit for my king! Bruschetta, sausage stuffed mushrooms, creamed spinach and veal scallopini with lemon wine sauce - all his favorites all homemade by me!

The Most Wonderful Time of the Year!

It's the most wonderful time of the year and I am so glad it's here.  We picked out our tree and decorated the house and have spent night after night hanging around the tree listening to Christmas music and just enjoying being a family!  We got our tree at the Kinsey Family Farm, had a visit with Santa and have taken a bunch of holiday pics and are filled with spirit!  Can't wait for Christmas Eve and Christmas and then we leave for SUNNY, WARM FLORIDA to ring in 2014!!!!

Holiday Family Fun!

We were so happy to have Grandma, Pop Pop and Uncle Peter visiting us here in GA for the Thanksgiving holiday.  We went to build a bear workshop and made reindeer, we went out to yummy dinners, we hit up the GA Aquarium and saw a cool dolphin show and we hung around and watched some funny Christmas movies.  It was a short visit but it was filled with fun!

Thanksgiving 2013

We had a beautiful Thanksgiving this year.  I am SO very thankful that we got to share the day with family!  Uncle Peter, Grandma & Pop Pop were here and it was a great day filled with food, family, fun and love.  I am so thankful to have a warm house to live in, food to eat and share with loved ones, my beautiful, healthy, happy children, my husband who's my best friend and the greatest dad to our kids,  my family's faith in God and Jesus and for the rest of our big crazy family that does come to visit us here in GA as much as they all can!

Happy 4th Birthday Dylan

Wishing our baby boy a Happy 4th Birthday! He may be one big ol' hot mess but he's our hot mess and we wouldn't change that for the world!  He's also super smart, super sweet and polite, super funny and he LOVES music! He keeps life interesting and fun - crazy too! There hasn't been a dull moment since he's been born! Love you to the moon and back Dylan!

This year we woke up and did our normal cupcake breakfast followed by presents!  Alex went to work and I took the kids to McDonalds for a fun birthday lunch.  We were so happy Grandma & Pop Pop were able to get to us a day early and made it in time for dinner.  We went to Hibachi and Dylan really loved the cooking show and of course the fire!
