A Berry Big Mess!!!

BEAUTIFUL DAY!

Recently, the weather has been pretty yucko - we've been doing a lot of playing inside - playing inside in the summer stinks! Finally today we had a sunny BEAUTIFUL DAY so outside we went!!!

Narley Nachos!

Alex had a special request for nachos for lunch - so off to the store we went! We got back and I cooked them up and oh so yummy they were!!! We even got to catch a replay of last years wild card game between the Redskins and Seahawks on NFL Network - it was almost like a real Football Sunday!!! Now we really can't wait for September!!!!

4th of July at Ortley Beach!

Even though the weather didn't really cooperate, we had a great time down at my mom's beach house! On Thursday when we first got there AJ got to go in her pool - she loved it and we can't wait to use it again home! On Friday we went to the boardwalk, went on some rides, played some games and had some yummy food (pizza, fries and a vanilla/orange twist of frozen custard). For dinner we bbq'd chicken, dogs and burgers - we caught a few fireworks and then had a late night fire pit! I think a good time was had by all!!!

FORK!

On Monday we saw how great Fiona was doing with a fork so I decided to let AJ try and she did amazing!! She is so "little miss independent" and ate so happily all by herself (well not completely - I had to put the food on the fork for her then lay it down on her tray for he to pick up) - but still, I was very proud!!

HOBOKEN!

AJ met up with her two best friends (Shane & FIona) for lunch in Hoboken on Monday! Aunt Lauren was such a great host and showed us around her neighborhood. To start we had lunch at Helmers - the steak sandwich soaked in garlic butter I had was delish and so was the home made from scratch potato pancakes we had for an app (wish I took pics of the food - oh well, next time). After lunch we went on a walk to the park, got to play with her 2 awesome dogs and even got to hang in her apartment! A great afternoon was had by all!!!
