For dinner we went into Miami to Joe's Stone Crab - the food was delish - I had a combo of stone crab claws and Alaskin king crab claws - the crabs were SO GOOD - melt in your mouth good! AJ was tired from all the activity and heat and got a little car sick on the way home, I am sure all the icecreme didn't help either - she got a bath and went right to bed and was good to go the next morning!!!

Fort Lauderdale Day 2 (Miami)
We woke up, had some breakfast and were off to the Miami Sea Aquarium! It was such a great place and AJ LOVED all the shows and animals - especially the Sea Lions - she screamed with excitement through the whole thing!

Fort Lauderdale Day 1
We had so much fun visiting with Grandma, Grandpa & Uncle Peter and we took SO many pictures that I think it's better if I break the posts up by days...
We arrived into Fort Lauderdale in the early afternoon and were met by Alex's parents at the airport - AJ was very happy to see them both! We got our bags and drove to Uncle Peter's place. He lives in a amazing 3 bedroom 3 bathroom penthouse apartment complete with a large balcony with beach and other water views, 2 beautiful heated pools, a private marina, a bakery shop, a spa, a fitness club and evelvators (AJ LOVED getting on and off the elevator)! We got there and decided to get on our swim suits and go swim in that beautiful looking pool! After our swim, AJ took and nap and we got ready for dinner. We went across the street to PF Changs that night - the food was very yummy!!!

Imagine That Children's Museum!
Michele, Taylor and I recently took AJ & Christopher to Imagine That in Florham Park - it was SO GREAT! Such a fun place for kids! There is a pirate ship with a slide, a huge sandbox with tons of toys, a Fire Engine, Car & Airplane, a play house, a music room, a space room, a ballerina room, a model train set and a play train set, a puppet show, a art area and tons of other things I am forgetting to mention! The kids had a blast and were super tired after which made for very happy mommy's!!!

JUMP For My Love!
AJ's newest skill - jumping! She has far from mastered it, but the fact she tries so hard and she thinks she is doing it is good enough for Alex and I!
Babble Monster!
AJ says a few words - Mama, Dada, "Uck" for Duck, "Cok" for Clock, "Cox" for Socks, "Mawee" or" Marmar" for Marley, up and a few others. In the past week she has developed he own language - it sounds like gibberish but it so cute to hear her constantly babbling and act like what she is saying makes perfect sense!

Miss Independent!
AJ is really becoming Little Miss Independent - she likes to do everything by herself. She won't let me feed her, she won't hold my hand to walk, she has to brush her own teeth and hair, she likes to clean herself with the washcloth in the tub and wipe her own hands and face when she's done eating and instead of riding in her stroller or being pushed in her car, she insists on being the one that's doing the pushing! As much as I love all her new found skills and independence, it's kinda sad how quickly they grow!!
